Geographica Helvetica is the Swiss journal of geography and was founded in 1899. It publishes contributions in all fields of geography and related disciplines. It is a multilingual journal publishing articles in English, German, French, and Italian.
The main focus of Geographica Helvetica is to be a meeting ground for different geographical traditions and languages, and aims to become an ideal platform for the creation of an informed and creative geography. It offers discussions and debates around major thinkers past and present and is heavily invested in the circulation of geographical ideas and concepts across Europe and beyond.
